Exercise

The LiveWell Program recognizes the importance exercise plays in leading a healthy lifestyle. Exercising as little as 30 minutes on most days of the week can relieve stress, increase energy levels, improve sleep, and help prevent or manage chronic health issues such as heart disease, osteoporosis, and type-2 diabetes. The following resources are available:

Exercise Tracking

Employees covered under a TeamHealth medical plan are eligible for a quarterly $50 credit towards health insurance during 2012 for exercising an average of three days a week for 30 minutes or more each day. Telephonic Health Coaching

Want to talk to an expert about exercise? All employees and family members with United health insurance through TeamHealth have access to Telephonic Health Coaching completely free of charge. Whether you are interested in losing weight, exercising more, quitting tobacco, or managing stress, this program is for you!

Fitness Facility Discounts
