UnitedHealthcare members have access to telephonic health coaching to help manage stress. All TeamHealth employees and family members also have access to a free, confidential Employee Assistance Program (EAP). Two programs are available:

Care24 and LifeWorks should be used any time you or a family member feel distressed. Phone calls are unlimited, and if an in-person referral to a mental health professional is made, the first three visits are covered at 100%. Master’s-level counselors and nurses can be accessed 24/7 if you or a dependent need assistance with any of the following:

• Anxiety
• Legal concerns
• Separation and divorce
• Relationship issues
• Child care
• Parenting issues
• Elder care issues
• Education issues
• Alcohol and drug abuse
• Domestic abuse
• Gambling and other addictions
